  • Overview

    The National Sales Administrator will provide overall support to National Sales Division within Wilson Daniels, including Sales analytical support to the SVP Sales, DVPs and the National Salesforce. Schedules appointments, maintains supplier calendars, and performs various administrative duties for the National Sales division.


    Note: This position will be based in St. Helena, CA until 1/18/2019 and will transition to Napa, CA on 1/21/2019.



    • Sends out monthly Distributor Turn reports to Region Managers with analysis on any brands that are under inventoried.
    • Log on directly to Distributor sales websites in top markets to analyze sales and inventory trends. Markets to include, but not limited to:RNDC markets. Focus on TX, LA, CO, GA and VA
    • Breakthru markets: Focus on FL, MD/DC
    • YMCO markets. Focus on CA, AZ, HI, WA and OR
    • National Accounts tracking, analysis and communication, including inventory tracking and compliance by market
    • Create and manage National Account consolidated file
    • Produce YMCO, RNDC and Breakthru Scorecards on monthly basis
    • Manage the planning and execution of annual National Sales Meeting
    • Assist with planning and execution of WD Personnel Review meetings
    • Assist with planning and execution of WD Business Plan meetings
    • Manage Italian Wine Specialist business tracker
    • Coordinates, manages, and maintains scheduled appointments and travel arrangements as necessary.
    • Plans and schedule distributor meetings in the Wilson Daniels office. Arranges meals and samples accordingly.
    • Prepares and edits correspondence, communications, presentations, and other documents as needed.
    • Plan travel and manage calendar for SVP Sales
    • Complete and submit SVP Sales expense reports
    • Assist with set up and reserve conference room for meetings.
    • Monitor allocation expiration dates
    • Complete new item set up forms for selected distributors
    • Ensure Brand Related visits are managed for maximum effectiveness and impact.
    • Organize sales blitzes/crew drives with DVP’s/RM’s
    • Assists in the preparation of sales presentations for DVP’s.
    • Sales liaison for projects concerning Creative Services



    • Four-year college degree (or equivalent in experience)
    • Wine and Spirits industry experience a plus.
    • 2 years experience in office setting preferred
    • Must be proficient in all Microsoft Office programs
    • Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
    • Solid judgment skills and ability to work independently
    • Organized and excellent follow-through a must; detail-oriented and deadline driven
    • Proactive, self-motivated, takes initiative and ability to work with little supervision
    • Team player with a positive attitude; flexible to adapt to changing needs/priorities
